Believing in you to believe in yourself - Hideaway puts young peoples health, safety and well-being at the front of everything we do
With the new lockdown upon us, the Youth Sector has now moved into ‘Red’ in the Readiness Framework following discussions between the National Youth Agency and government, this means we have to adapt our provision in line with the new guidance.
Hideaway youth workers are continuing to support young people every day throughout the recent Lockdown measures.
Hideaway feels that we cannot open our doors safely at present. So again we are trying to adapt new online activities.
Like we did through the first lockdown and Tier 3 restrictions, youth workers are reaching out by phone to give support to those who need us most and for any young people who want to speak one–to–one, supporting good emotional health and wellbeing. We will offer small private Zoom groups to enable us to replicate some of the high–quality discussion sessions that great youth work is built on.
If you would like to contact any youth worker either email hello@thehideaway.org.uk
Or text/ whats app on 07555919576 and leave us a message or if you want a specific youth worker to contact you, just tell us who and they will contact you back.
